I have been drawn to both art and design for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Mexico City—one of the world’s great capitals of architecture and design—I was immersed in this world from an early age. I was also introduced to the design process early on, as my family moved frequently and worked with architecture and design firms for each new home. Fascinated by the process, I stayed closely involved—asking questions and offering input. These experiences sparked a lasting interest in how spaces can shape mood, connection, and everyday life.
After completing a B.S.B.A. with double majors in Finance and Marketing and a minor in Art & Art History at the University of Miami, I began my career in corporate & investment banking at J.P. Morgan in New York City. A year and a half later, I shifted my focus to my true passions—design and art—earning Certificates in Interior Architecture and Interior Design from Centro in Mexico City and founding Artem Design.
